About me...

I touched my first computer system in 1975 and never looked back. I was hooked on the possibilities of what computers could accomplish in our lifetimes. I’ve been blessed to be at some interesting intersections in my life, where I connected with big players in the industry and even worked with well-known figures who made a difference in our lives. One of those was the one and only Steve Jobs, whom I met in 1987 and knew until his passing in October 2011. One of my great honors was receiving a credit in the movie "Toy Story" as Macintosh Systems Engineer. Following Pixar, I worked at Sun Microsystems during the dotcom boom years. I created DocMurdock after leaving Sun in 2002.
